If you’ve ever had a period in your life when you’ve made destructively selfish choices, sometimes you don’t realize what all you were blind to in the moment. The depths of where your thinking has gone. About yourself. About others.
And then there’s that moment of clarity. And in this case, that moment that God’s grace rushes in, illuminating the destruction. In your mind. In your heart. In the wake surrounding you from the unfulfilled life you’ve chosen. That grace shows you how deep you’ve sunk, so you can experience that same grace saving “I forgive you. For all of it”. Christ forgives all.
This is Jonathan’s story. He now stands steadfast.
“Steadfast” is a rather personal project to me as I’ve also been going through my own journey in messing up really big and letting God rebuild from the damage. I put my heart into this film and I hope it’s a story that’s encouraging to anyone who may feel like they’re beyond hope. God’s grace is for all of us, no matter what we’ve done.
